Anonymous asked: I'm going to be a 3rd year next fall at a large public university and still haven't found a group where I feel like a truly belong. I'm planning on rushing next fall but I'm worried because I don't know if I'm cut out for the greek system, including the partying and the time commitment, especially during pledging. Also I'm worried that sororities will be less willing to take me since I'm a 3rd year and have been through pledging before with a non Panhellenic greek organization.
I hope you’ll give Greek lief another shot to make sure whether or not you’re “cut out” for it. I really hope you’re able to find an organization that pushes you to be a better person while growing because of your involvement. Also, if a sorority doesn’t want to take you because you’re in your 3rd year, you don’t want to be part of that organization if they can’t accept you for who you are or your age. Give it one more shot!!
